damnit...apparently the host i used for the pictures crashed, i'll reload them when i get a chance, havent gotten much done on this lately, jeff's been working on the half doors, and got one mostly done, the other one is cut out, just needs the fill-in pieces welded in, i have some pics of the finished one that i'll load tomorrow

oh and the adapter and stock tcase(to keep it flat and lined up right) are out at my bro's school getting fixed up for free

pics of the door...jeff took it with him to his house to modify the interior panel, and start sanding it down to paint it

he was really stoked about how this turned out with the cupholder and the tube brace, i think it'll be sweet when its all done

so I came across a 4.3.. and also an '82 FJ-40 recently : )

The 350 is coming out, 4.3 going in.... V8 for the 40 along with an SM 465 I had laying around...

needs to do on the mini:

Swap engines
hopefully get my broken adapter back and reinstall with t-case
mount toolbox and tanks (in progress : )
tube work (sliders, exo, bumper)
rear drum seals and cylinders
front IFS hub conversion
rear springs upfront (got some shackles coming, leaf packs are assembled but need cleaning)
front rear shock mounts
mount Warn 9000
bought a gal. of Massey Fergusen Red paint and MF Gray for the tubework so it's getting paint...

just a few more things LOL!

I confirmed today that the LPG kit will work on the 4.3L though I initially bought it for the V8.... need to get an aftermarket intake with the correct pattern to match though, only 100$. I should have the 4.3L in a couple weeks, my buddy Luke is pulling it out of a donor vehicle soon...

we pulled the 350 and trans out on wednesday night, and jeff cleaned up and painted the rear spring packs for the front last night

next up is the tool box mount, then maybe the sliders, after that the front axle will come out to get cleaned up, diff protection, and painted, as soon as the shackles come from sean the hybrid 6-leaf rear spring packs will be ready to go in, just gotta get some new ubolts from napa

jeff has the half doors almost done, and he wants to sand down the whole truck so we can spray it all red

when are you going to get the 4.3 jeff?
