Auction ends tonight. What do you think it'll go for?

$11k more than I had allocated, now.

$32k?

Too late to trade for my FJC? Kidney? Son?

The exact one I've been searching for years for, but unless Santa's bidding on my behalf, it'll slip through my grasp. :mecry:

Looks like Overton has it consigned.

This one just amazes as it changes hands and the stories change.

Read this thread https://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series-tech/668199-1983-fj40-sold-ebay-you-sell-buy.html as I used to own it and I bought it from the original owner (ebay auction for less than 15K which was a grip back then) in Arizona that was a commercial pilot.

I can say when I owned it that it was truly the best running 40 I have ever owned to date. It was a late production as it had the vent windows.

Sad the wheels were powder coated, tires removed, rare center caps missing, MINT interior replaced and only 10K miles in the last 10/12 years.

Crazy,

Shane

I do have this 83 on consignment. I'm perplexed that anyone would add new seat covers over a good original interior. There must have been some tears or splits starting to happen. It's a nice truck and I'm planning to take new photos but I have to travel several hours to get them and it's hasn't been driven 50 miles since the eBay photos were taken. It's part of a collection of Cruisers that don't see much road time. Seller is not terribly motivated.
