quite the list compared to a couple of years ago. seatoskydad is in squamish in a lifted fzj80. radd cruiser is in duncan although i think he is selling his hdj81. some other guys who post on the coastal cruisers list i don't know.

bizbucket, i see the big lift snorkelled 80 too. It is a RHD truck so I assume diesel. sometimes parked on great northern way and sometimes in kits. guy is on at least 35s and at least a 4" lift. He just towers over me on 33s and Js. In fact it doesn't even look like the same truck.

Semlin, I think I know the truck that you speak of. I believe I seen it the day he picked it up from the docks. Made me jealous. Mine only has a 4" lift and 32"s.

It seems I may have found a hitch, but thank you to all concerned.

Missed this thread till now.......there are two 80s here in kelowna........that I know of . Both LHD "no drive-thru problems".

I think "Yellowchaosfj80" is in the lower mainland, but haven't seen him on line for a long while. I did see his truck last week in Abby where he works once in a while. He has a very well done 80. You will def. know it if you see it!

1994 lockered, US-spec 80 here, in sunny Victoria.

No trail pics yet; I just got it on Wednesday :D

ALL OF THEM!

Seriously, just a 2" lift, 33x9.5" pizza cutters, some sliders and skids, maybe longfields and a pair of useful bumpers. It's pretty difficult to improve on automotive protection.

nice truck. if you are really adding that much armour consider j's on the front and 863s on the back. i had the same objective as you and went with mediums at first and it was a mistake once all the armour and a winch was attached. you can still run ome nitros or even stock bilsteins on those springs although you will sacrifice a little bit of potential droop compared to L shocks.

you really do not need longfields for a build on that scale so unless your existing birfs are already clicking I would skip that expense especially if it is a BC trail/camping rig rather than a rock climbing rig. stock birfs are plenty strong enough for trail use on 33s.

How about the province to your left?

If I look real hard, I can probably see you from the roof of my 80 here in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan!

Dang, it's flat here...

You're right!!! There's my dog....only been gone for 2 days, though!!;)

91 fj80 - Bradwell, Sk. ( 10 min east of Saskatoon ). Hope to see a few more 80's out here soon!!!!!:bounce:

I'm spotting more and more 70's and 80's around every day - left and right drive. The lower mainland seems infested - great stuff.

Since added a snorkel (planning ahead for global warming and sea level rising) and haven't got the RTT up there yet. Want to get the skinny tires running too.

Cheers
