I'm in Calgary. Purchased mine two years ago.

Not many of us South of Cowtown .. I think there are a couple dudes around town with JDM's, one other with a white LC and me. Picked mine up in Phoenix a couple years ago. Absolutely love it!

how do you like the Duratrac's Im looking at getting a set but there arnt many reviews on them

Love the Duratrac's. I thought that there were a lot of reviews on this forum.

They are quiet except for a hardly noticeable yet pleasing hum on the freeway. They are great in the wet, very good in the snow( mountain snowflake rated) and they look beefy...IMO. I haven't really wheeled with them yet so no comment there. All in all I think that they are the perfect tire for an 80 that see's 80% street and 20% trail.

Its nice to see so many 80 owners in this end of the world! I didnt know there was so many around here and on mud.

I'm wondering if the 80 series owners in the calgary area would like to get together sometime, look at each others rigs and have a pint &or wings somewhere/evening? Any interest?

You don't read much about the Hankooks on MUD, but I would put them up against the Duratracs any day of the week. They are quiet, balance well and have great traction in snow and ice. Some on MUD have talked about thin side walls, but that is just conjecture. I might be singing a different tune in the spring though .. who knows!
