Costco has some 8000lbs Winches ?champian? for 299 if anyone is interested. the one out by me at the 101 and 10 had a bunch I could pick one or so up for people if you would like. later Rob

Might want to get some info on it first. What I've been reading says it's not up to par. Of course, neither is the price, so for a light-duty recovery item, it might be OK. 8000 might be a bit light, I'm no expert.

I'm not getting one for the 80....it's too light. I was just throwing it out there for the club....I know it's are to fathom but we have people the drive thinks other then 80's....don't know what they are thinking :D:D:D:flipoff2:

I didn't think there was anything after a 62...

LOL, I have to admit I only think of 80's, but you do have one as an avatar. You mean to tell me the 60 is that much lighter? How much does a 40 generally weigh in at? I was always curious of that when I owned one, but never checked it out (that was before this whole Internet-easy-info-thing).

The reviews I read on the Champion mentioned that they have a painfully slow line speed, and a permanent magnet motor which apparently is less than desireable. Don't take my word for it though, I don't know jack.
