80 series with 1HD-FT (1 Viewer)

Looking at importing a 1HD-FT 80 series... the manufacture date (when looking it up online states 12th Month (Dec) 1995. Does anyone know if this is eligible in December or due to not the specific date I must wait until Jan 2021?

or is there a location to get the specific date of build?

Technically legal in December 2020 if built in 12-1995.

Thanks wasn't sure if I had to wait until it's 100% 20 years old (e.g. Dec 31) as I can't find the specific date in Dec.

Pretty sure I read that the regs go by month and year and it's eligible in the month of manufacture; not the month after. Sorry but I don't have a citation for that information.

I just imported a ‘93 HDJ80 with 1HD-T. If you have a broker lined up, just ask them.
If not, let me know and I can give you a contact to run the question by, but fairly certain it’s to the day of manufacture.
If you have access to the title/registration docs from PO most countries include date of manufacture.
