Hi all, I have a 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser 80 series with a 1FZ/FE engine. I’m having an intermittent issue where I lose all power and the engine runs rough. Some times if the cycle the key it comes right some times it doesn’t and after sitting for a few hours it is good as gold. Seems not to matter the temperature of the engine or climate. Have flushed the tank and fuel lines, new fuel filters, serviced every 10,000kms, new fuel pick up pump, new ignition coil, new distributor, new leads and plugs. Vehicle is standard besides 33” tyres. 280,000kms

I would start with checking your grounds, then your battery cables and terminals. If you haven’t replaced your fusible link I do that. I had a broken battery terminal that would vibrate loose and it caused a similar issue of random power loss. There is a lot of good troubleshooting steps in the FSM if the above check out.
