where did you do the roof top ? custom ?

The roof top was made by Innovation Campers in Germany.

There are a few other ones doing such constructions. Custom Campers for example.
If I had to do it again I would chosse a full rebuild of the back side like this one is:

If you have the opportunity next year, have a visit at the BTT in Germany. A great Toyota Meeting always the 2nd weekend in september. A few guys from Poland always are there.

You will find the thread title already. edit you to really make it a 'registry' while you suggest. if there's enough merit towards the idea the posts can come and also the other staff will most likely sticky it. otherwise it'll slip lower a couple of pages and disappear. it may well be a wise decision. it'll give newcomers a fast thread to search through to see lifts and tires and prevent the incessant posting about each rather than just clicking 'search.' oh wait sorry for that editorial. i believe i'll start.

I did it myself. It's amazing what you can do with a Pep Boys and Lowe's around the corner. Used stainless steel HD door hinges supported by 2" angle iron (hidden under the roof liner) and some smaller angle iron to strengthen the window frame. Works great- hardest part was finding the correct Lift Struts, i believe these are for a '90's Nissan Pathfinder. That door is heavier than you think.

What is the purpose of the gull wing door? Or did you do it because of the obvious cool factor?

Well... I am new to the forum and to the 80 LC... got mine a week ago from a car auction, the good is the car is factory locked, its a 97 with 136k miles, and a one owner car, but looks like they didnt take good care of it, interior is in poor conditions and comes from NY , so its pretty much rusted under the car ! I have found no body rust so far !!!
well this is going to be a project, hopefully will get it lifted with new shoes and bumpers soon !!!

The trailer has 315s and 80 wheels, 6k axle with trailer brakes, rewired to 12 volt, lunette.
