HDC,

We launched a new sub woofer mount for the 80-series wagons today. Being based here in Albuquerque, I thought I'd pass a note along to the club that we are looking for a handful of people who might be interested in a sub woofer and amplifier mount at our cost to get some of these out on the road.

You can read the MUD post here or find additional information at www.wholehogtech.com

We will try to make the next HDC meeting for people to check it out in person as well.

Sounds cool Brandon. How much space are we talking about (cubic inches)?

My bad Brandon, I assumed something totally different until I went to your site. Very nice package indeed. All 80's could use a little more bass!!

Nice Brandon, very gangsta. Are you doing the manucaturing yourself?

Isaac,

We outsource the manufacturing for now - not enough time in the day to make them ourselves. We have other things going on during the day in the engineering world that are more steady income-wise.

Nice to meet you today Brandon.

Let us know if we can help with any parts in the future.

Hi Brandon!

For those that are new to our local club... Brandon built my sliders many years ago. He and Ryan Ekland were UNM students and made money to chase women doing special projects.

Have the sliders survived still?

I remember that after we got them installed, Mike had a small noise that started up where one of the slider mounts rubbed the frame. At the time, I was driving a 1983 mini truck with no roof, and to have the silence of an 80 was a very stark contrast, regardless of any noises that a slider could make.

Now I have a 62 with no roof in the LandCruiser herd... but it's just a parts vehicle thankfully!

Very nice. Let me know when you want to start working on one for the 100-series.

Have the sliders survived still?

Yes, they are holding up well. My dumb ideas for mods to George's original design didn't hold up well. The cat skid had to go a couple of years ago and the steps that were going to be removed before every off-road trip didn't get removed and they have suffered.

The actual slider part is doing very well. I think there is a scratch on one of them. :D
