Hi blokes, I’ve got a 1994 1hdt with a non-working tachometer for the revs. I believe the signal is broken coming from the injector pump as I’ve measured and it has a positive and negative to the instrument cluster but no signal. I don’t want to do anything on the injector pump if possible as that is $$. I need this to be working to pass a roadworthy, thoughts are to replace the instrument cluster with an earlier model which does not have a tacho for the revs. I’m just unsure as too whether or not the plugs/wiring are the same for these earlier ones.
