Updated title ^ to reflect broader scope; let's make this a one-stop for current cable info. Let's get the rest of the P/Ns and applications up here, and I'll cram essential info into this first post. What other cables are on the vehicle? Let's do that too...

From @Fj80oregon:
You have an accelerator cable that goes from gas pedal to throttle body. You have a [throttle] kick down cable that goes from transmission to throttle body. You have a cruise control cable from control to throttle.

Throttle (Kickdown) Cable
35520-60140 (Jan 95-on; NLA)
35520-60111 (92-Dec 94) >>>Fit later years?<<<

Accelerator Cable
78180-60280 (model-years?)

REHABBING THE NLA THROTTLE CABLE:
From @GOTLOCKED96

ORIGINAL POST:
According to Mr. T's local representative,
35520-60140 is for 95-on
35520-60111 is for earlier 80s

Dealer website calls the first an exact fit. When I try to order it (yes, I know it's NLA), the site switches up the numbers and ALSO says the second P/N is an exact fit. Anyone know the score here--will the early cable work in the later vehicle, or won't it? And if it does fit--what's with the two P/Ns? The later one won't fit the FE, and the earlier fits both, or what?

Pretty sure the early cable that would be in a 3fe powered 80 is definitely different if I remember correctly it goes over to the cruise control module then another cable goes from it to the throttle body.

Interesting, as--according to the parts guy, anyway--the earlier cable is listed right through 94.

I have a 94 myself it's a 1fz also have a 95 1fz both those cables should be the same 92/some 93 have 3fe engine. 94 /95 the throttle cable runs from pedal to throttle body

I may have a used one from a 95 if that's what your lookin for. I do think there is replacment do a Google search should bring you back to nud I've seen a thread at one point about it.

So, from what I've seen so far, folks have danced around the issue but there is (so far as I know) nothing definitive. The old one is said to be a little shorter but to work in the newer vehicles, but the guy using it runs a s/c so the routing is different and that's of limited use to most. There are photos, but nothing comprehensive (that I've seen) showing both ends of both cables, the wrap, and the length. Maybe we can do something definitive here, as this keeps coming up. Anyone have one or both of these things laying around?

35520-60140 is for 95-on with the 343
>How long is it (when pulled straight)?
>What do the ends look like?
>What's it wrapped in?

35520-60111 is for earlier 80s (and also for 105s) with the 442
>How long is it (when pulled straight)?
>What do the ends look like?
>What's it wrapped in?

And here's a cable resto thread if this doesn't work out...

@White Sheep successfully installed the 3FE throttle (kickdown) cable on a supercharged 1FZFE. I plan on doing the same.

I just purchased an accelerator (gas pedal) cable new from Partsouq and will be installing it this weekend.

Correction: the kickdown cable is for the 442 transmission, not necessarily the 3FE engine.

Ooh, side-by side photos would be perfect! What's involved in getting these cables off (and in) on the tranny side?

There are no 3F-E engine powered 1993 80 series Land Cruisers for the US market.

The throttle cable goes to the transmission and not to the pedal. The cable going to the pedal is called an accelerator cable.

How many cables are there, that we should be looking at while we're in there replacing engine/tranny, and how many are NLA?

I misspoke when posting that, accelerator cable
Goes from pedal to throttle body, throttle cable(kick down cable) goes transmission to throttle body.

Your NLA throttle cable part number is the same as the accelerator cable part number.
