Thought some of you guys may be interested

Tube bumper for the 80. Cut 3 5/8" off the frame rails, tucks in nice for better departure angle. More to come :)

Wow man that looks awesome, gives me something to think about later on once I get my garage set up!

Awesome work Stan, how's the truck comming? I saw it there in the back ground.

Thank you guys,

Hey Doc, been a while, hope that all is well with you and yours.

I've not touched the truggy since May. Sometimes life just gets in the way. Most of my attention has been focused on getting horses home and working on the house some and other projects. I am hoping to get back to the truggy soon if possible.

Im fine and doing ok working too much. Looking forward to seeing the truggy when you get it running. All my best :)

Looks good, I hope to redesign the swing out on our 4runner eventually. Hoping to have spare permanetly mounted and then have jerry can/cooler holder removable.

What kind of gap did you have on the rear 1/4 protection, looked close. That is another thing I need to modify as mine is a little close for my liking.

It is close, about 3/4" gap. The owner is not into rock trails and twisties so the odds of the bumper making contact are slim. The flex is far more noticeable in the front end than in the rear but they do flex. I'll gap them out a little more for guys looking to run rocks.

Stan

nice looking bumper! The best part is it made that horrible sticker disappear! :)
