Running 4 of my 97 cruisers, 3 with over 200K miles on them, one with everything new from firewall to frame horns. Long term temperatures for 3 months to 7 years and counting all average out to 184.6. The hottest any have seen, uphill on I5 out of LA headed north with outside temp at 114 was 212.4. The coolest running temperature for any 5 minute period starting 5 minutes after startup was 178.6 when it was -4 degrees in West Virginia. The hottest running temperature for a 5 minute period was also the same day on I5. I run the blue fan clutch on every cruiser I own, and have installed them on several customers cruisers. The difference they make is substantial. My AC has never cut out, but I turn it off whenever the temperature hits 200. My new temperature recordings that I am doing are all within the cruiser. Nothing to do with this thread, but I want it for other purposes, solar, etc. As with everything I say IMHO, YMMV (WILL VARY).
