I love my 200's wide a s s![]()
Do most of you notice a difference between driving (or test driving) a 200 over a semi built up 80 series. When I test drove a 200, I remember feeling disapointed I didn't really notice a difference on the feel of the vehicle (on hwy though). I've been thinking about that lately, that may not be a bad thing...
I think I need to go for another test drive without the sales guy (and wife)...see what she'll really do.
Huh?
When I get home from a trip in the 80 and then get into my 100 to go to dinner the difference is tremendous and immediate. One block down the road reveals the 100 is a world-class driver vs an older design with a solid front axle. There is no comparision. The 200 is another step above the 100.
To drive to a dealership in an 80 and get into a 200 and not notice the amazing driving difference ASAP.....that's beyond my comprehension.
I think you're just messing with us. (Which is OK)
That is absurd.
Do you have a 100? If you have a 80 and 100 you would know this to be true. The driving experience isn't even close!
Now you're talking about two different things, Shotts.
Yes, though I stand my ground. I'll write the same thing another way.........
COMPARED TO THE OLD 80-SERIES....the 100-series is a WORLD CLASS DRIVER (driving vehicle).
You need english lessons. The entire sentance and paragraph shows it (the 100) was compared to the 80 series.
I apologize.
Ha ha ha ha ha !! Try getting out of a 62 and into a 100 !! That's when you really do appreciate the well roundedness (don't think that's a real word but you get my drift) of the 100 ! Still, I love my 62. I get all sorts of compliments on it. And the 100...Well, pretty much just another SUV to the uneducated. I like the the 80 though. Good compromise between an archaic 62 and a modern 100.
I can imagine! I also think that's one reason the non-100 owners defend and attack 100 owners when they point out all the improvements in the 100. They're "OK" with their 80's because they haven't experienced the superior new 100. That's OK...ignorance is bliss.![]()
