Wanted 79 FJ40 Bits and Pieces, N. Idaho

After sitting for more than a decade, my 79 FJ40 is mostly running, but needs a few bits and pieces to make it road worthy...more or less. Used and inexpensive is my current goal,

At some point, I hope to improve the cosmetics, but that's for another time. Right now, I just want to get it on the road and have some fun with it!

Here are some of those bits and pieces that I lack:

- fuel door with hinge (late model)
- side window defrost defusers (late model, cold weather option),
- 50 amp gauge (ammeter) for speedo,
- upper dash
- air cleaner inlet extension (the flex hose inlet and adapter for my over-the-rocker air cleaner?)
- rear bumper step
- rear bumper hitch or hook

Some nice to have items if you're in the area or shipping to Northern Idaho isn't prohibitive:

- front seats
- rear jump seats
- front bezel and bib for 79+ FJ40
- body patch panels for rear quarters, ambi door bottoms, driver floor.

Shoot me PM with what you have. I'm looking for functional and inexpensive. A well used "Patina" is fine. Shipping may be impractical for some of the large items.

PS - I have a very used Holley (needs rebuild) with manifold adapter that came with my 79 if anyone needs it.

I have hood prop, red emblem center pad, and defrost side ducts, and imperfect dash pad...proably mirror. And 60 dizzy and side cover..

Thanks for the heads up. New and shiny would be great (someday), but right now I'm trying to go low budget where possible to get my rusty rig road worthy.

Once I've done that and have driven it for a while to get the bugs out, I hope to focus a bit more on the cosmetics. She will never be a show car, but might be just a bit prettier...someday.

It's been a couple of years since I passed through your area on my way to visit family in Texas. Not sure when I'll get through there next. Do you ever come up my way, Coeur d'Alene or Spokane?

What sort of parts do you have that might help with my 79 FJ40 project?

Nice, but probably out of my budget for my rough 79.
