I have a set of front and rear 78' FJ40 axles. The seals and gaskets would need to be replaced on everything, as the rig has not been driven in 12 years. I will either sell them complete or I can remove the thirds and front disc setup and sell individually. I would also be willing to deliver or meet within 3 hours of Myrtle Beach.

Price for complete set front and rear $300 delivered up to 3 hours away.

Price per 4.10 fine spline thirds $85 plus shipping

Price for front disc set up removed or complete front end minus third $150 plus shipping

I will also throw in a spare mini birf and set of inner axle shafts to whoever gets the disc setup.

I also have driveshafts front and rear, a pair of stock springs, all hardtop glass, and a good working 4 speed tranny. Make an offer on any of these. I will take any reasonable offer on these items except for the tranny. I need to get at least $100 for it.

Thanks
Jeremy

I could ship it anywhere you like. I could strap them on a pallet and send them Best Way if you like. Or you could shop for a good rate with a truck company and set it up yourself. I have no interest in weighing the whole axles, so if you did some research and got a ballpark weight, I could get a quote for you.

Well krap - that's a better deal than you originally pm'd me :D.

I'll take both 3rds if Marshall doesn't take everything.

Heck - let me rephrase that - I'll take it all if Marshall can't. Delivered to a friends house in St. Augustine - or I can pick up within a month or so's time - depending on when a good swell hits the Jax area on a weekend :D.

Yes, sorry about that. I should have sent you a message letting you know, but you never even replied so I figured you weren't interested. I think Marshall may be putting them under that 55. I am not sure if his has discs or not, but he may or may not care about the fine spline thirds. I am in Myrtle Beach, SC not Florida, so Augustine is out of the way. I just don't see these things going for more than $300 which is why they were cheaper than I originally told you. The other set on here for $500 is a little high for what you are getting. I mean fine spline thirds and disc fronts are great, but for $500 they better be rebuilt with good brakes and ready to go. And these are not.

No worries - I don't have to have these - but I knew someone who can use em. Don't sweat not telling me - my bad for not remembering to respond.

Yeah - I totally forgot that Georgia is between SC and St. Augustine - damn funny. :D
