Everyone, this may be the dumbest question ever but thought I’d throw it out there.

I’m kinda sorta in the market for a troopy. I’ve missed out on a few auctions been too late to the table for some that were listed on mud.

I have a really nice set of 40 doors I bought prior to selling my 40 and wondered if I should hang onto them on the chance I get a troopy that needs amby doors.

If 78’ 40 doors don’t fit on troopies I’ll put them on the market.

Thanks everyone

They will fit on the early troopy with the square corners. I believe 79 or 1980 and up is round corners on the hinge side.

Well I guess I might as well hang onto them until I actually get a troopy. Thank you @Redgrrr for the response

I have a 84 troopy I can take pics of the amby doors. I do believe like the 40's 79 represented a change . Just let me know if I can help!
Cheers
Jon

I definitely would If they are a nice example…I’ve also wondered if it’s possible to just grind the corner radius into shape and weld it up and make it work as late model ambulance doors are difficult to find.
