Does anyone know what size vacuum hose I need for a 78 dizzy cap please? It’s the larger port that I need the size for. Thanks

I did last night with no luck. The 3/8 went on but came off to easily. Also they only sell standard. You might consider taking the cap to an autoparts store to find a hose diameter that fits the port properly.
1) Find out what size metric end wrench just fits over it.Does anyone know what size vacuum hose I need for a 78 dizzy cap please? It’s the larger port that I need the size for. Thanks
The individual at the auto store suggested something like that but due to the caps being nearly impossible to find I’d rather not clamp it or glue it. Thanks for the reply. I’ll order the hose from Amazon or something once I get the correct dimensions in MMHot Glue.
Good idea! I’ll try the wrench1) Find out what size metric end wrench just fits over it.
B) Go to a better FLAPS that carries metric.
III) google 3/8" to metric (9.5) and figure 9mm might fit.
or just wrap some tape around the nipple till 3/8" fits snug.
ThanksI used 8mm hose, Toyota 95333-08100, or Honda 95001-80001-50M or -60M if you want genuine Japanese hose.
