Opinion: I read some of the ad copy for this one. What does "original" mean? I stupidly assumed "original owner" meant original truck. Not so.

Here's an original hardtop version turned into a soft top. Original tub replaced by something aluminum. Original color repainted to something different.

So I guess the kind of vehicle I thought I would see would be called "original truck," since the original owner of this one didn't keep it original after all.

Similarly "one owner" means absolutely nothing, nor does "second owner", etc.. It's the vehicle that's for sale, and twelve different owners could have a better-kept vehicle than one owner (the "original" owner), who just might be a slob and treats his things poorly.

Time for me to be more careful next time when I read car ads.
