77 series gullwing windows

Calling all 77 owners,

Been looking at these for a while, as far as I know, the availability out there is through front runner and emuwing for the 76 series, which have the exact windows as the 77 series, correct me if I am wrong. The front runner option seems too expensive, emuwing are more reasonable. I have an email out to them on the process and costs to ship to the USA, and if they would entertain a discount for a group buy. Would anyone else be interested in these, obviously depending on the cost. Personally, it would be worth while for me if I could get a pair shipped for $1000. On their website they are advertised at about $1,125 after the conversion plus whatever shipping is. It doesn't look like they offer them with glass, I wouldn't want the glass anyway, but if that is what you want, that is not an option. The one turn off for me is that the frame is attached with adhesive, I guess they make pretty good adhesives these days, haven't seen any complaints by the blokes down under about it, so I am inclined to trust its durability.

Any interest?

I don't recall the price of the front runner kit but I think it was double the cost of emuwing so this seems like a good deal.

Correct, the front runner is twice the cost, I like its design better then the emuwing. I am leaning towards fabricating my own, depending on the interest, reproducing a few more for fellow mud members.

The rear windows of my 91 curve around the rear pillar and they open.

I don't think the gull wing type window would work on the LK77

They will work on any 76 or 77. If you look closely, parts of the pillar where the curved glass originally covers is left exposed after kit install.
