Well, losing my indoor storage next winter and after re-evaluating my finances think it's time to sell the rig. These are current pics (taken 8/15/2010) Did a little grinding on the rear sill since to locate the rust, but didn't get far. Rust has evolved in the usual places and the paint job wasn't very good when I got it, but all around still a decent starting point.

The way I got it:
77FJ40 solid frame with 4 inch SUA lift (unknown manufacturer). 35 MTRs on alloys. Detroit lockers front and rear with 4.56s. SBC with about 35k on it (I've only put another 2k on it). 8274 Warn winch. Edelbrock carb, hei, don't know much about it, but when tuned it's got more nut than a stock SBC. Stock 4 speed/tcase with no whines. Saginaw PS, Confer auxiliary tank, tuffy console. Interior has some kind of DIY bed liner material on it in good shape. Has factory front & jump seats in good condition with seat belts.

New I've installed since I've had it:
  • Front signals and head lights
  • Stainless hinges, hood latches and windshield hold downs
  • Aluminum water pump
  • March performance serp setup with billet ps pump (more on this below)
  • HFS winch bumper
  • Replacement bumperettes
  • AA rear trans mount (had a homemade jobber in there)
  • E-brake with speedi sleave
  • Passenger door handle mech and new rear ambi door handle/latch
  • New factory tank (3 months ago)
  • Hardtop to side panel gasket
  • front toyota emblem and side panel emblems
  • Be Cool aluminum radiator with electric fan and catch can
  • Autometer ultra lite oil pressure and temp gauges
  • Mirror arms and heads
  • Roller fairlead and D-rings

New parts not installed but included in sale:
  • HFS greaseable shackles and bushings
  • AA rear trans mount bushings
  • SS braided brake lines
  • Soft top mirrors (round headed ones that bolt to the hood hinges or half door hinges)
  • Rear 4wd & Toyota emblems with gaskets
  • Rear Tube tire carrier with new bumper, catch and gasket
  • 2" bolt on receiver hitch
  • Aluminum Edelbrock valve covers
  • Autometer fuel sender and ultra light gauge
  • NIB Sor car cover and cable lock with key (never used)
  • Pedal pads
  • Rear lights, plastic covers and steel protectors
  • Knuckle rebuild kit
  • Extra pair of mirror heads
  • Grab handles
  • Taurus Fan (used)

Other parts included in the sale:
  • Original gas tank with small hole in it (repairable)
  • Original radiator with pin hole at the filler neck (repairable)
  • Original hinges, hood hinges & windshield hold downs
  • Factory drop light
  • Original emblems and mirrors (poor condition)
  • Rear door latch
  • Original radiator overflow
  • Amp with cable & 6x9 (looks to be homemade) speaker boxes
  • Bolt on tailgate for use with softtop
  • Extra black wagon wheel rim with no tire for spare (had a 38 on it when I got it)
  • Original homemade rear trans mount
  • Original ps pump, water pump & pulleys that came with it
  • 2 extra 4.11 third members
  • 2 chrome factory 79+rims (rusty)
  • Factory rear heater

The bad:
  • Rusted rear sill, spots on the quarters and rockers. They were POR15ed before I got it.
  • Ambi doors and front doors have rusted thru along the bottoms. They were also POR15ed when I got it. Passenger door has hole in the bottom.
  • Has a bump steer problem (needs high steer)
  • Broken drivers door mechanism
  • March pulley setup works great, but PS needs another bracket to get proper tension
  • Needs tune up & battery (which I'll most likely do next weekend)
  • Front passenger hub is ticking
  • Dent in hood where my wooden canoe fell on it
  • Someone cut the cables to the winch trying to steal it, but couldn't get it off

Price reduced to $7,500 due to rust evolution with everything above but it's all negotiable. This needs to go, so I'm open to all offers. If no bites I will be parting out come October. Already got interest in the frame, axles and tub.

Also willing to throw in an early chevy 2wd NV4500 6.34 1st (no shifter or bell housing) and a full float rear axle out of a 77 FJ45 for additional $$$.

Probably missing some of the good/bad and extra parts but will update if I think of anything else.

Nice looking rig. Sorry to hear that you need to sell. Looks well worth the money. Any chance you would sell the telescopic mirrors in the 4th picture seperately?

Lotta tire-kickers, but nobody with cash. Willing to sell just the truck with some or no extra parts....open to all cash offers but not looking for trades.
