7640 questions

i have a couple of quick simple questions ( i did search)

what oil to use in a 76 2f, and what fluid for the trans and transmission.

will 15 rims fit my stock 7640

May I ask what keywords you used that you could not find any hits on those questions? If you had a FSM you could answer the first two questions yourself, so go download one. Toyota Workshop & Repair Manuals - Page: 1
And yes a 15" wheel will fit fine on your stock FJ40, it is probably the size on there now.

I use castrol with temp appropriate weight, but at least 10-40. 85W90 in the gear boxes, from stem to stern. 15 inch wheel will work fine, you need 3 1/2" backspacing.
