I just received OEM Upper Window Channel replacements for my driver and passenger side doors.

Excited to install them...but does anyone know if I have to remove the glass or dissemble the door to get these in? It seems like they could just slide right in but gets stuck on one side.

Please say they slide right in without removing the door and all that mess...lol

Are you talking about the felt that goes around the window to keep it from rattling around? If so, I would think yes, you would need to take the door apart. I rebuilt my doors this winter with all new felt, uppers and lowers. Here is a couple pictures of where they meet. I could be wrong. In the second picture you can see where they meet.

There is a great video on YouTube on The40Channel that details the whole process. Good luck

Dang. Yeah I am referring to the one that goes around the top of the window when it's rolled up, keeping it from rattling.

Alright thanks guys.
