Going to do a full Brake Fluid Flush. Can't find a clear answer on how much brake fluid I need for this. Anybody have an accurate number? Going to order OEM Toyota Fluid (12oz bottles) and want to make sure I have enough. Thanks for the help.

I'd get it at Walmart or any parts store...DOT 3 is DOT 3. Two 1qt bottles will be enough.

I just did a "Red neck" flush on my brakes and clutch. I just opened the bleeders one by one starting with the furthest from the master cylinder and let the fluid gravity feed until the the fluid coming out was clean. Obviously keeping an eye on the master level. Mine is a '75 with drums.

Before flushing we empty the reservoir(s) with a turkey baster. If they are dirty, remove, clean and start with fresh fluid. Don't see the point of flushing old/dirty fluid through the system or mixing old with new?
