74 engine question

if the 74 F has the 2F style oiling does that mean that the intake and exhaust manifolds off of my 73' F will not work??are the heads different externally or just internally.thanks for any help.

I want to say they will work, but I don't remember for sure. I seem to remember the 74 F head is desirable on a 2F because it will raise compression. The combustion chamber design is different IIRC. It's been a while since I had one though.

They will bolt right up and work fine!
