72 fj 40 stock rims do disc brakes fit (1 Viewer)

im Sure this has been asked before but I want to know if there is a disc brake conversion that will work with stock rims on my 72

Not if they are riveted and I believe 72 was still riveted steelies. I’d just go with a mini truck or 60 front disc set up on your 72 axel and order some new steelies from the dealer. They are still available new and no longer riveted together.

They are 5 lug as well aren’t the mini 6 lug. ill Check with the dealership and see if I can get them

If you have five lug post up pictures something is wrong, they should be 6 lug.
