I threw all the hardware in my brass tumbler with Nutshell media for a day. I like the way they came out. Now to work the media out of all the threads.

I put my old rusty and grimy hardware in a small rock tumbler with mineral spirits. Gets them basically all cleaned up. They do need a coat of some sort of oil after, I use Corrosion X.

Glad you didn’t ditch those, you’ll find a use for 90+% of those.
