71 fj40 Hazard Wiring Question

Question...the hazard switch on my 1970 truck has 9 wires vs what I think the year appropriate switch would have only 7?

So...does that mean that I only need one flasher relay with the 9 wire switch vs 2 flasher relays with the 7 wire switch?

OK I finally found the diagram I was looking for that shows ALL the components! The GW wire from the brake switch MUST be connected to the S terminal on the turn switch. Hope that clears up any confusion?

Hello Does my april 1971 fj40 have two flashers or just one? All the diagrams that show all the wiring show a hazard flasher and a turn flasher. I only remember one flashe when I took it apart. Thanks Dan

I’m betting just one. I know with my ‘72 there was a single flasher and that none of the available wire diagrams were very accurate
