Only thing I see missing is the Inspection cover! Last thing you need is the flex plate getting smacked.

the nasty front-to-back lean is cause the rear tires have no valve cores in them.....gotta air down a bit to fit in the garage ;)

I know 88-up pick ups have a pretty nice cast aluminum cover. Either way it is pretty hard to get a rock into that area, but I'm sure it can happen :D

oooooooh! i get to chime in again with some more useless transmission trivia!!!!

the 2wd gm transmissions like the th350,400,700, 4l60e and 4l80e in trucks and vans used a stamped steel inspection cover. this is retained by 4 bolts. most passenger cars had either stamped steel or plastic covers. also held on by 4 bolts.

the 4wd trucks used a cast aluminum inspection cover held on by 6 machine screws. i would advise puttin one of those on there woody. if your local shop does'nt have one, let me know. i have "some" in my stash. :D

the cast cover was used in conjunction with a couple of strutt rods that connect it to the engine mounts in order to strengthen the entire engine/transmission/t-case combo to keep the bell housings from cracking. and they do of course keep junk from getting to the converter, trans pump and seal and the engine rear main seal.

The 6 bolt transmission cases had ears on them for the 2 top bolts, so you can't just drill and tap for the top 2 bolts. You can put a 6 bolt cover on a 4 bolt case since the 4 lower holes line up.

Just be sure to get the correct one since there are 2 styles depending on the crank seal used (newer 1 piece or older 2 piece)
 
Impressions:

LOVE it....absolutely....thoroughly....completely.....zero complaints on the whole deal, just need to add a 2nd "drop" pedal for two-foot work. t-case shifts as expected (stiffly), tranny is perfect, stall rocks, brakes work fine with the combo, it idles up to obstacles and a light throttle burp pushes it up and thru....

I was VERY VERY pleased with the combo, and can't wait until I get more seat time to drive it better!!
