They're notorious in the "buyers beware" section here on mud

I buy all the time from them

Never an issue

yeah lately no issues with standard parts for my 80 series from them. but never purchased more unique parts like a bed. i've heard that complaint more with LCH which is more local to me. they said they could get me the bed and even sent a pic but then radio silence for months.

I've seen the cruiserparts beds first hand....real deal

If OP is in Marylandistan just make arrangements to drive up and pick up instead of dealing with challenges of shipping/freight

Really? I stand corrected. Worth the gamble then

Probably solved some time ago but I found this Instagram profile and he uses 70 series long bed on a 1985 Hilux/pickup and it looks good

Hey man. Just curious if you ever found anything out about putting the 79 series short bed on a Hilux. I have an LN106 with some bed damage that5 I am buying and am looking at doing it to. Already have the 70 series short bed. I know I will need to make it a bit more narrow, but that is not at issue.

The 6' bed on my '98 Hilux LN172H (XCab) looked to be very similar to the bed on my US config '92 XCab. I did not look closely at mounting points though.
