70 breaks on a 40

Good day every one I have a question ,Does anybody know if the 70 disc break setup can work on a 40 , I cant find a proper disc break conversion kit and i am thinking about using those from a 70

Did you try the for sale section? The wanted section. There's half a dozen guys offering disc conversion setups right now, including my bud 66fj40x2.

Really have NO idea if 70 series parts would work.

Since 70 is generally the same as 60, then yes, it oughta work. At some point, after 60 evolved to 80, the 70 got the giant 80 knuckles. That is not gonna work on the old 40 axle.

As Mark said, there's plenty of 40 & 60 disc setups for sale now. I'll sell you one, if you care to pay airmail from USA to Australia.
