I'm starting the next built I decided to stretch a 40 16 inches and put 42" tires on it.
I found a fj on Facebook had to negotiate for 6 months, but finally got it for a fare price.
I've been working on it for a few months now and collecting pasts.

Looking good so far and same original paint as my October 1969! Interested to see how your patch panels turn out. What was the deciding factor in choosing a 16" stretch?

lots of welding and grinding today the panels came out pretty good.
It's is a 16" stretch hoping to get 112" to 114 wheel base.

Did you use the link calculator to build it? Or is that something you just know? Those links look long, my lowers are like 44” and those look longer to me. The whole thing looks really good.

Did a lot of research the lower link in front and rear are 44" the rear upper are 42" and the front are 36 which is over 75% of the lower.

Can’t wait to hear how it rides, bet it will be sweet. You’ve probably already ordered coilovers but just in case every chance I get I recommend Accutune. They’ve been very helpful to me.

Already received 2 of my 14" fox elite remote coilers the other 2 should be here soon . Waiting to put them on until get closer to full weight, roll cage to order upper spring staring with 200 lb lower springs
