Hey guys, I'm here in town...just grabbing food at Teller House. Unfortunatly I blew some section of the exhaust and my truck sounds like a Harley with no mufflers. I'm hoping Triangle Garage can fix me up first thing in the am so I don't miss anything.

Call Kevin at Bearded Wonders Garage. Tell him you're with HIH.

What time are we supposed to start in the morning?
Most groups depart from the Shell station at 9. Alpine loop leaves earlier

I had to replace my whole system last year, so I'm hoping that keeps me from having this issue.

Best defense is to not top off the tank and keep the idling to a minimum, right?

How does this advice pair with the runs this weekend? Won't we need a full tank on these runs or will there be stops to refuel?

Found the issue, blew off five of the 9/16th bolts on my headers to cat assembly. Just need those and locktite and I will be set.

What time is the raffle?

Did I win? I'm in the bathroom!!! J/k. I left early today, but what a great time meeting plenty of great people. I hope the lucky winners win stuff they needed/wanted

We just made it home after a grueling 37 hour drive straight through. All of our short stops really added up quickly.

As many others have said thanks for putting this event together Chris and Stan! You two definitely did an amazing job of organizing all of it.

Now it's time for more than a couple of hours of sleep in a 100 passenger seat.

Still on the road, but made it to Des Moines tonight after a stop yesterday in Golden to show Slee some love. Wrenched a new front skid plate on in the parking lot and picked up some odds and ends. New skid is the shiniest thing on the truck!

Two more days to home!

What a great time. Great trails, events and friends! Thanks to the directors for all of the logistics and the vendors for really coming out!

I have two requests:

1) on day two someone's wife was kind enough to video me playing in the river crossing between camp and Animas Forks. If it was you, can you please PM me as I would love to see that video. I drove the gold LX470 with my spare on the roof with my co2 tank.

2) I was talking to someone just before the raffle, I cannot remember the screen name, who mentioned having their AHC sensors laying in their garage. I am interested in purchasing them as one of mine is bent and the other fell apart on day 1's trail.

I made it home last night after the 3,200 mile round trip. As much fun as HIH3 was, it had grown tremendously in my two year absence and HIH6 was the best yet. It was great to see old faces and new and look forward to next year. I rejoined the cruiser fold mainly to come back to HIH

Kudos to Stan and Chris for their hard work and dedication. I know you two put in countless hours and we can't thank you enough. Thanks to all the trail leaders as well for their guidance and knowledge throughout the weekend.

Last but not least, a huge thank you to the sponsoring vendors for their contributions to the raffle and entire event. Your generosity and participation spoke volumes about your dedication and support to the community and I hope all attendees take notice of who supported us so that we can support them. I especially want to thank Christo and his crew from @sleeoffroad for contributing the group 31 battery tray I won in the raffle. It was on my shopping list already and I ordered a battery for it as soon as I got back in my office. I'll be calling slee for a set of sliders soon as well!

Thanks again for one hell of an event.

Roll Tide,
Brandon

Just before dark on Sunday in New Mexico on my way to Albuquerque. That is not the sunset. The sunset was behind me. It is a cluster of rainbows that was full of lightning. Once I get to it, I will post the real images from my camera. They are amazing.

As I made it back to Texas outside of Amarillo. Definitely felt more like home temps!

A little passed 2 am outside of Houston. Taking full advantage of $2.25 premium before hitting the city! Showing plenty of signs of a road trip but almost all signs of a muddy trip were washed away the night before.

Thanks to everyone for a great trip. Every single person that I met was awesome. Super special thanks to Ben Cole for inviting me and the Nitro guys for being great camp buddies and a great museum trip! Say hi to the kiddos!

PS I'll post some phone pics from the trail on the other thread in a few minutes!

Did I miss a listing of what was raffled off? I know I missed out on everything else!
