Since mine has been getting all the attention lately to prep for HIH6, I spent the day making the wife's look brand new again.

I know, the wife was supposed to use that sand for the kids sandbox. It bugs me.

I'm getting some suspension work done at slee on Friday in preparation for HIH. having some rubbing issues on the front with 35s.
Rubbing isn't an issue. It's a sign you have the biggest tire you can fit. No rubbing=go bigger. ;)

Is it okay if additional people get on board? I'm camping at Silverton all weekend and my wife is thinking about joining me this year and bringing the dog. She's having second thoughts after hearing about the recent FJ rollover near Aspen but she still might go.

Very cool. Thanks for doing the limited run on the HIH kits. Can we see a snapshot of what is included or a link to the detail?

@Outer Limit Supply is there any chance of buying just an empty case with the HIH decal/logo?

That could possibly be arranged if I have any left over. The case would be black with either a yellow or red HIH sticker. With the logo you'd be looking at $75 or $65 without. Both prices include "pull & pick" foam.

That's a dangerous way to buy a first aid kit. Get the full one, it's a value for what's in there!

I fully agree the full kit is very nice. I already have a pretty thorough pieced together kit. I just need a nice flashy way to keep it all stored. I see nothing dangerous about desiring a secure way to keep all of my first aid kit in one easy to get to place, while simultaneously supporting a vendor.

Sure, I could go to my local sporting goods store and buy a pelican (or similar) case but I like the design, I like the way @Outer Limit Supply Supports veterans and I like the way they support HIH so I would rather buy from them.

Thanks guys for the compliments. It's always a struggle to keep cost down. To help with some of the cost we're now offering all of our supplies in a "refill" configuration. From medications to the big Outback...you can save some money by excluding the fancy case.

Option opportunity for Day 1 and Day 2:

Two of our long time HIH folks, an attendee and vendor have graciously offered to lead a couple of small groups on the Alpine Loop trail. @nakman @BJTLC100 are those guys.

We did not initially offer this as a trail as it quite a long day. Plan on 10 hours on the trail including a lunch stop. However, it's a nice, Colorado high mountain classic. Also, we have a couple of trails reaching max capacity so this would help on that front, as well.

We want to limit the Alpine Loop to 7-8 trucks max. It will be first come, first serve. Email me directly at chris@100sinthehills.com with your name and whether you want day 1 or day 2 (or either) I'll reply in a few days to let you know whether you got a spot.

Really looking forward to this. Almost have the logistics knocked out. This is one of the last steps. I know @paflytyer is cranking out email after email on many finishing touches that are going to make this year really special.

Thanks

chris

Exactly my thoughts.

The addiction is real though. Just bought a winch today. But I'm doubtful I'll have time to install it prior to HIH. Possibly if I can get a friend to help.
