Am not sure if these are Unobtainium but I am looking for a factory transmission hump for a column shift 69' FJ 40 but with one cut out for PTO winch lever. Also looking for the so-called Darth Vader map/courtesy light cover that goes on the right side of dash near the glove compartment. PM me if you have these or if you know of anyone who does who would be willing to sell. Not to sound crass but I would be more than happy to pay $50 finder's fee for a completed sale of any of these two items. Thanks!

I can picture in my mind’s eye that I have had one of those transmission humps, but not sure if I still do.

As for the Vader light, you’d have to be a regular before we talked about that.

Curious how we ended up calling it a Darth Vader light. Probably a age thing as most here will remember Star Wars. To me it looked like the Darth Vader's helmet looks like it has a last century German helmet underneath. The like to me looks like it was shaped cover to Robby the Robot. But not sure how many seen the Forbidden Planet? I was going to post a picture of Robby the Robot but on my google search it says picture may be copyright protected. Picture of the light from the dash of Cruiser is easier. This is a picture of my 73 I snapped years ago and why I have the dash from another 73 to replace it is I ever get around to working on my 73. A PO loved to add extra switches. :bang::(

Exactly what I am looking for---apparently they are unobtanium. With that said, everyone has a price and I am sure I will find a willing seller. LOL re the Forbidden Planet comment btw!
 
I have the light but need the cover-- am sure one will turn up!

Thanks for the phone call follow up. I had a chance to look a little bit ago and the hump I remembered is not there. There is one other of that type, but the PTO opening and trap door are homemade. No use to you.

Mine cost $350 last week on eBay-- glad to have that very stupid piece of tin
