67 leaf spring replacement

Bought my first 40 earlier this year. I'm finishing the body and thought it would be a good time to throw on that new set of leaf springs the seller threw in with the deal. Two of the new springs are exact matches lengthwise to the stock springs. The other two are approx 2 inches shorter from hole to hole with alot more arch. I'm guessing there will be a spring mount relocation in my future but Want to be sure before I do that. I would like to add a inch or two of shackle length when I do this. The new set is heavier because the previous owner felt the ride was too soft. This pic shows one old spring with the two styles new springs. If someone is familiar with this set up , I need a walk through.

This may not be the case with yours but last time I installed a new set of springs they looked much like yours. The old ones were sagging which made the new springs look shorter. My guess is they will fit fine.

I thought the same thing. I pulled the front stock spring and checked the shorter more arched spring for fit. Where I'm running into a problem is the center pin on the shorter spring is a closer distance from the axle to the spring mount nearest the cab. If I turned the spring around (long side of spring towards the cab) then the distance between the mounting bolt (closest to cab) and center bolt is too long.
I tried hooking the spring to the mount and the shackle and jacking it up. When the truck started to lift, I was still shy an inch of the center pin lining up with the axle.
Are the shorter more arched springs for the front? They wouldn't fit the back any better.
