66 FJ40 VALUE? (2 Viewers)

My take is that it is far enough removed from stock that the potential 'value' of being a '66 is gone. Early rigs need to be reasonably stock to have special value. That one is just another old FJ40 now. Undoing the changes to go back to stock would be prohibitively expensive.

You may be surprised. My bet is someone will come and offer 15,000.00 , and, they will accept it. The values on these keep inching up and there comes an equilibrium point where that amount , especially if you restore and sell for ~ 70,000.00, is reasonable.

Early ‘65 build. I stink at valuation because there isn’t enough rusted out stuff, lol.

That meat hook on the rear tow-hook plate would be an issue for my dogs exiting the rig safely.
