I'm thinking about replacing my old FJ45 PU seats - would like a later pickup bench seat with headrests. I know I'll need to fab brackets, but does anyone out there know of a model/year that is a good fit to the 45? Traipsing around the wrecking yard with a tape measure isn't so fun in the wintertime . . . (I know, what a weenie!)
;)

I have seen a mini truck bench uses as well as a mini truck bucket...........but thats all I got ;)

every single pic I have shows the factory split seat or Fj40 buckets ???

sorry no help here either!

conversly; my passenfer seat is ribbed and the drivers seat is not...I wonder which one is the factory seat???

The pass. side.

So, was the fire extinguisher there because of the fear of your "original" seat catching on fire from that gas leak? :P

whats on the tranny hump? is that an arm rest on the driver door?

the fire extinguisher is present in all my Cruisers, I've never had one flame up but I refuse to stand and watch one burn to the ground becuase I didn't put a $10.00 extinguisher in the cab.

The tranny hump was modified by the previous owner, I assume the GM 1 ton tranny was taller than the factory 3 speed. Yes, the previous owner screwed a silly handle to the drivers door and as usual did some things to make me say W.T.F. ???

Thread Hi-Jack complete :D

Rusty, please let us know if you find something that works, I'de like a nice bench seat that would seat me and the wife and the boy.

Hey, you've got to love the onslaught of questions/comments whenever you post a pic of YOUR Cruiser.

You've successfully survived the Ih8mud.com picture gauntlet. OOOOOOhhhhh.....what fun...

Classy Huh!

those are long gone, I took all my current pics before I did any work (for posterity) and I need to update my photos. Maybe I can drop the top this weekend and get some new photos since it's going to be 70 degrees and sunny :D

b.t.w. I found this pic with FJ40 buckets in a swb45....
