60 Series to 55 Series Diff Swap

I am bring home my first 55 after having 4 60s over the past 10 years. Very excited! It will be a daily driver and I will be keeping my 60 until I have the bugs worked out on the 55.
The 60 has 3.73 diff gears and the 55 has 4.10's. Since the goal is daily driving, can I simply swap diffs and put the 3.73's in the 55? Are the splines the same?

I think it depends on what year 55 you have.
Im fairly certain the diffs are swappable, If you can get just a bit more info.

Sorry, I should have mentioned the 55 is a 1976 and the 60 is a 1985. Thanks for the help.
