Well me and the guy with Georgle 60 in DFW didn't get to meet up but after reading the ad and builds threads on mud I have a few questions.

Is that motor in the 60, a chevy Vortec a good motor?

forgive my ignorance but what do the twin sticks he refers to on transfer case actuality do?

Can the dash pad be easily replaced since it has two holes from that loran that was for some reason put on it.

The whole front seat system seems jacked up and I would be interested in copying cams set up.

What is a good price?

The vortec 5.7 is a fantastic motor.

Also, the split case got 4:1 gears during the rebuild. To me, if you were gonna take this rig on an @FJ60Cam type, hole in the rock, off the f'ing epic-o-meter type adventure, that's a sweet mod in this rig.

Those aren't my favorite seats either, but they are comfortable. I've got a very similar FC Fab setup in the pig.

I'd refer to the previous for sale add posted above for a pricing reference.

You gotta LOVE an unexpected "find!"

Just got to wondering this morning if the seats underneath the seat covers in my 60 were in remotely useable shape. I really prefer the factory seat material in a 60, and my door panels are in nearly-new condition.

I didn't even know if the seats had any upholstery under the covers or not.

Here's what they looked like when I bought it:

Evidently, the previous owner took a tip from his grandmother and did the equivalent of putting plastic over the couch so it wouldn't get dirty. I have no idea why he would have covered a virtually perfect interior with some really bad upholstery, but I'm really glad he did!

I may have to rethink my objective for this truck after today.......

Very cool.

Looking for a few bits and pieces for the grey interior on my 62. If you happen upon any please let me know. Looking for: Passenger visor, plastic seatbelt covers along front door sills, seatbelt retractor cover on passenger side rear, front carpet, plastic blank fill above ashtray, front tow hook, plastic headliner trim where it meets the rear hatch, interior door handle bezels.

Most of that stuff is discontinued from Toyota.

Tow hooks are still available new (but not cheap).

Interior bezels for the door handles are still available new and stupid cheap.

Oh yeah, I owe you a phone call. Man. I need an assistant.
