Gorgeous 60, Patrick! Are those split rims? And did somebody take a bite out of your rear tire?

Well first things first then Patrick. Since I haven't seen it here yet, welcome to MUD :flipoff2:(official MUD greeting).
Next, great looking rig. Love the gray rims and old school hubcaps.

Josh, great looking shot. Christmas postcard stuff right there!
Part time apartment huh?

Yes, I believe they are the OEM split rims. No chunks taken, I think that is just some water on the tire. Not the most hi-res photo.

Chewy's sweet. Love the clean simplicity of it.

Nice looking truck there... Mind explaining the ProComp suspension? Didn't know they made suspension parts for our trucks other than low end shocks.

1. Year and model of vehicle: 1982 FJ60
2. Name of owner: Eric
3. Name of vehicle: The Cruiser
4. Mileage on the truck odometer: 265,000 roughly. Had it 15 years.
5. Modifications, if any: OME suspension, ARB front bumper, custom rear bumper, 33x12.5's, lock-rites (finally broke the rear one & took it out, going to upgrade), dual batteries, Hella lights, ConFer roof rack with custom bottom (makes a nice sun deck), great stereo for drowning road noise, repainted, rust coming back a bit, custom sheepskins courtesy of my wife, V8/auto conversion now in progress.
6. How you use the truck: Backcountry camping (especially in SE Utah), getting our annual Christmas tree up in the snowy mountains, mostly just recreational stuff.

Overall I was pretty happy with the Lock-Rite, although it drives much, much nicer without it. Eventually when it started going out I would find myself suddenly swerving while driving straight down the road as it slipped and then caught. Also on icy conditions it was bad because it would cause you to break loose. However, for wheeling on wet rocks, mud & snow it was great.

Probably looking at ARB's or a Detroit instead.
