Allis

I bought my rig in Oct of 2009 when I was living in Japan. she was not much to look at and is still not much to look at. I never registered her on here because I moved back to the states (Virginia) in June of 2010. Well today she is home, here in Virginia after a long boat ride, 2 new batteries, and a 120 mile shake down drive. She sat in a storage yard under the sun and rain and salt air of Okinawa and grew many a rust bubble. I will start a rebuild thread to show the progress as I go.

1. Year and model of vehicle 1988 HJ-61
2. Name of owner OkiTLC
3. Name of vehicle Allis, She will get a nice Allis Chalmers orange paint job to go with the name.
4. Mileage on the truck odometer 160,000 KM
5. Modifications, if any
6. How you use the truck. she will be for around town errands and trail rides. I hope to have her ready for the GSMTR in May
7. A single photo – not very big, to save disk space

Ready or not you WILL bring that to GSMTR!

Please please please do not paint that orange. The gray is so much more suiting, it deserves an OEM color.

Please.

Cool truck.

Orange doesn't sound good to me either, but to each his own man!

1987 FJ-60
Galen
Frankie - As in 'Frankenstien' because she has parts from multiple 60's but, one unintentional piece of bling at a time, she received too much jewelry to be a male monster. Funny how you fix up a truck intending to use it off road but in the process it gets too pretty to scratch and dent up.
205,000 miles
Frame off paint, OME heavy/medium, dual batt, killer stereo
Garage queen, summer road trips
