3. Goes by "Stanley" ... wife named him, but it's fitting
4. Right at 199,000 miles
5. Stock with BFG AT 31's
6. When I bought it 4 years ago (Redondo Bch, CA area) it was my surf/camp vehicle. Now I live in Durham, NC, and Stanley has since become my DD for a short, daily commute to work. I'd like to get it back to 3rd vehicle status, so I could do some modding to it myself(trial by error ;)). Hey everyone! :flipoff2:

Nice looking cruiser. Why do the diesels have a G on them? "G wagon" term might be confused with the mercedes. Looking at going SOA myself. Welcome!

I've always seen the G emblem on diesel wagons, I think it's the letter for station wagon. Now my question is: why the FJ series don't have a G and what is the grill at this place ? Air intake, air exhaust ?

The side grille vent thing is so the carb fan can pull air in to the engine bay. I thought it was only on US cruisers. Are they also on cruisers in Senegal?

Not at all, I discover this grille on american cruisers. All LC here are diesel engines, excepted some exotic imports.
