I’m doing a welding project on the rear of the 60 and have the hatch off and don’t want to put it back on with the old soggy struts.

Anyone bought oem Toyota struts or generic auto parts store? I am curious the price of both.

60 series with ball on each end.

Thanks!

I have had Napa match up a generic one for my excavator. It was about $30, rather than the $130 from Kubota.

Trick would be to figure out the force you need.

Your saggy ones plus 10-20lbs maybe?

Some of those little struts are so strong the hatch would knock you on your ass with an uppercut when you push the button.

I did Amazon, had them on for a year and seem fine so far - $34.95

A pair of 50 lbers were enough for the 40 hatch. The 50s for the hood aren’t enough… I’ll have to trade them for the 70s that came off our car.

You’re welcome to try them out if a 20” will fit.

The RV place around the corner from the ReStore had them for about 20 each.

It doesn't look like an OCD stick??
Don't be bringing logic into scifi.

Next you'll be asking if Gandalf knew about those eagles the whole time, and if so why did he get a pack of midgets to walk the ring to the volcano, when he could have just flown it there, dropped it in, and been home in time for lunch.

For when it gets old and cold, the strut of course.. I still have that stick. LOLView attachment 3458626
