i know that mud is a hassle cleaning and years down the road. but a lot of people enjoy playing in the mud (me especialy). and i was wondering how well fj60s play in the mud. could y'all answer this wuestion for me? pictures would be of great help also.

So you want to get a 60? If you are looking for something to play in the mud all day long, then get a V8 truck.

i love landcruisers and i definatley don't want to do an engine swap. if im gonna buy a 4x4 i want it to have the companys engine. i don't want a bastardized toyota with a chevy v8. iwant a toyota with a F, 2F, 22re etc. and i know that FJ40s can hold up in the mud. i was just wondering about fj60s...
The Fj60 and FJ62 have great torque. They do not have high acceleration which is needed for mud. If you want mud you should not get a landcruiser. As the website name states, mud is not something we are usually in. You're in the wrong forum.
hahhaha mud is fun but you are correct, we love the ROCKS here............
I love the journey. Rocks are nice, but overall touring in distant places is my thing.
Mud is for fords and big blocks iMOP.
A 60 series IMOP can do ok in mud if you modify it for it. Meaning steep gears, spring over and large mudders, and then go for it.
60's don't even make great rock trucks. They are truly just a tough suv meant for long distance dirt tracks. Expedition stuff.

I like playing in mud too just helps a lot if you have a V8. I am not going to suggest to anyone that wants a rig to play in the mud to get a cruiser with the stock engine and some 37's.
Like most have already stated, stockish Landcruisers aren't in their element in the mud, if I was going to build a rig with mud being the primary "recreation" I would get a solid axle mini-truck and drop a V-8 in it with 37" or biger tires and have back up drivetrain parts. Generally you want light weight, high flotation and high power. If getting buried and having to be pulled out is half the fun then it doesn't matter so much what your driving and if you like Cruisers then go for it.

My 60 doesnt have an issue in the mud. AALs and 33s are all I have and it doesnt have an issue getting through the thick stuff.

Really guys? We love rocks only? WTF? Wrong forum? The man likes Land Cruisers. Seems like the right place for him. I wouldn't say that we all love rocks or we all love mud or we all love mall cruising. We all love land cruisers.
