hey mike, didnt you build a kick ass bumper ? whats goin on there.

yes and i am running my rear bumper with tire carrier however after doing mods like the snorkle and the compressors i have decided that cutting the rear cross member is something im willing to do now. also i want dual swing outs as i have decided to make my truck safari ready and i want the water carrier. I will prolly sell my rear bumper to help fund this bumper which ill weld up myself. only prob is i leave for washington on the 18th or 19th of sept so if this isnt doable i will just stick with my rear.

Group buy info

Hello CSC,
We are waiting (again) for some corrections on the main bumper parts we had redesigned recently. I have all the other parts ready to go so it should be a few more days until we ship.
Apologies to mike for not being able to accomodate his deal killer date of the 15th. Perhaps I can get the parts to Bellingham after your move... I'll honor the group buy price for you and arrange shipping via cruiserhead express if you are still interested.
I did pick up one other order to fill his spot if it's any consolation.

I'll post up immediately when we are a go.
thanks for your patience.

feel free to call or email any other questions,

I'm interested if one of these falls through for someone. Please contact me if an order that has been placed isn't able to be completed for what ever reason.

parts! sort of...

hello copper state guys,
finally got some parts. still waiting for changes on the 80 series side parts but the brand new 100 series bumper is looking good. I'll be installing one this saturday so I'll post pics as I go.
The 80 series parts are supposedly on their way so if they are acceptable this time we'll be shipping early next week.

I thank you all for your patience.

Unfortunately the newest 80 prototypes also needed some modifications, so they are still holding us up. Prototype V8.9:D is being sent now, so we will know if they are good soon!

Kevin - maybe it's just me and my 'Blazer heritage', but isn't that tail pipe just asking to be crunched shut when coming down a ledge... why not have a hole in the plate and run it straight?

I agree, mine will exit behind the right tire, no idea why he did it that way?

the tailpipe on my 40-series exits in that same area, it's got a minor ding but has never been crushed....and it's been on there for quite a few years....

IMO, you are more likely to land on the rocker portion than in that area....tire goes over a rock and it lands on the rocker..."big" rocks in the middle of the rig usually mean you backed into them ;)

Woody, did you get your kit, or are you in the same waiting game?

The 80 has a little more "junk in the trunk" so it tends to land on it's back side more. On my stocker the corners are soft and the trailer hitch is strong, so I attempt to take hits on the hitch. Most of those hits are dropping off of ledges and climbing steps, I doubt that this setup would make it through Golden Spike unscathed. It's long enough to get pinched between rock and bumper, if it were a couple of inches shorter it could flex up and probably survive.

There may be more "junk in the trunk" with an 80 but I tend to be abusive with my 40...and with the 1/4-ellip four-link rear suspension, the tail pipe is 100% unprotected back there...no springs to thwack on first...heck, I've bent/broke the rod on one of my 5150 shocks...

I'm in the same holding pattern for my 80 rear bumper...not that I'm in a rush...

Why put a hole is a sweet bumper, dump the exhaust like mine
