4Runner fuel door spring

On a '97 4Runner is the spring on the fuel door available separately and replaceable? Have lost the spring on the fuel door and am unsure if the entire fuel door assembly must be replaced to have a functioning spring loaded fuel door.

Not sure about from dealer, but I snagged one off a pick-n-pull rig for a dollar. I will keep an eye out for one for you.

I got one from the dealer for my 97 Land Cruiser, my 98 4Runner and my 99 Land Cruiser. Cheap, simple fix.

Thanks but no need. This is for my son's 4Runner and he needs the experience of buying his own parts. Of course I'll have to help with the installation.
