Hello all,I apologize for not searching but wife’s 2014 all stock LC had the lights on as described. She drove it 15 miles or so.Now it’s home please advise looked at owners manual didn’t see the 4lo flashing light on there but did see the trac off.Tried to shift into 4 low and wouldn’t engage.

4lo won't engage with the lights flashing. First, check the simple things. Is the gas cap on and tight? A loose or missing cap can trigger lights, even unrelated. Then, run a search or two. Those exacts lights show up in several threads and I'll bet one of them will point you in the right direction (if it isn't the cap).

Take a look here. Mine was the An O2 sensor. Starts at post #2,199. HTH.

Beyond the gas cap the next thing I'd check is the battery. Make sure it has a good charge and all the connections are secure.

Thx for the quick reply’s .Just checked gas cap and yes it was loose! But I tightened it and started it up and lights are still on.Checked that the battery cables were all tight.Same 4lo flashing, check engine light on and trac off on display.Going to search now.

if its the gas cap, might need to sit overnight. I believe there's a pressure test that's run after ~4 hours of the car being off and it needs to be valid to clear the error. Or, yank the battery cable and boom.

I may take some miles for it to clear if it’s the cap. It won’t clear right away. In my instance the cap was tight but an oxygen sensor was shot. And it won’t affect drive ability if it’s the cap and or sensor either so no worries there.

Thx Sinister,Hopefully it’s not the O2 sensor.Truck only has 52k miles.Reading through some search threads now.Got some pulled up with just 4lo blinking.Search won’t bite with too many things!

Might just have to do this! Just read another thread about disconnecting battery. This guy was saying to leave the lights on?

you can man, or just let it sit about 5 minutes

Thank you all for the help! Just got back in from disconnecting battery with the lights on.Waited a few minutes hooked it back up and it was weird on the 1st push of the button truck didn’t start.Maybe I didn’t hold it down enough but it started right up after and No lights on it’s all cleared! Now just have to deal with this damm maintenance required light ha don’t have to search on this. And the horrible daytime running lights are up next.Going to try and turn them off on the screen menu a bit off topic but I think they totally outdate the truck.

The truck always requires two rounds of pushing of the start button to start after the battery has been disconnected for a wee bit.
Ok good I feel a lot better about that now thanks for the reply.

Exact same results for me. Battery is fully charged and 3mths old.. so who knows?! Thanks for all the guidance above!

Having somewhat of a similar concern. I am looking into a prospective buy, read the Lexus maintenance records. It says 4LO was flashing and there were the two codes P0441, P0456 INCORRECT PURGE FLOW AND SMALL LEAK DETECTED IN EVAP. Car was brought into dealership 4 times with the same problem, they ran smoke tests leak tests, gas cap replacement but couldn't clear it. Car was traded in by owner as a result. Next records indicate more work was done in the order 1. Crankshaft position sensor was replaced (which is strange since it is a P0335) 2. Charcoal cannister replaced and 3. Battery replaced Don't see a purge solenoid replacement. Any insights as to what could be happening here. Do you think the unit associated with EVAP is damaged? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
