Steel roof!

good works lads. that will be a sweet little ute when your done.

loved the comment on the bullet casings. i think i saw a few live shotgun shells in a photo. very similar to my ute when i bought her

Keep up the good work

Cheers BU5H P1G, yeah there were loads of live and spent shells and bullets around.. all part of the fun.

Okay, so an update, well sort of. After stripping the interior down, I decided that it does not warrant the money being spent on it getting it repainted since its in great nick and it will be a work ute anyway. But in saying that I will paint the floor wells and all the other panels right the way over. So I put the tacho and cluster back in and connected all my wires back up. The centre dash is just sitting there at the moment cos I need to replace some of the wires behind it.

Also found the motivation to run fully submersible cable to the tail lights that I still have to connect up. (It's pump cable that is designed to be several meters under water. Got it for nothing since dad works with pumps for his job)

Okay so this stuff stinks. But I hear that it's better than rust so...

Okay, for an update.

Lately I have had the cruiser out of action while I replaced the hand brake pads and springs etc. (sorry no photos) There was so much dry mud in there that the pads couldn't move, because I am missing the rubber seal on the adjuster. So I spent yesterday putting it altogether and the result is that I now have a hand brake that works:D.

I also picked up a front factory bumper that will do for now and got rid of the surface rust and painted it up.( Pics to come later)

I have ordered a new master cylinder as the one I have has crapped itself, which hopefully turns up this week. Also got an order from cruiser corps that I am very impressed with cos it came from America to my doorstep in 7 days, shorter than from Brisbane to the door.

I got my compressor and pulley adjuster thingy for the aircon mounted up, before they just kinda sat in the engine bay;)

Apart from that, I have just been mucking around, putting a few things back together.

Hey, how did that bumper come up?

Got the windscreen frame back on yesterday and wacked some weld in the holes along the front of it, then grinded it back. I've included some pics of the bumper too.

Also, can someone tell me if these holes on the inside of the windscreen are factory? There are on both sides in the same place.
