To all the big block haterz that said it wouldn't stay cool, it was pretty hot here in arizona today.

No, I have decided I want to turn it into just a sick daily driver though. We don't seem to 4wheel too much anymore but I still really enjoy driving the landcruiser just for fun. It needs the bumpers and tires, plus I think interior and amp research steps and then it'll be an all pimped out road warrior. Maybe get the motor built up a little bit.

Went to the junkyard yesterday and we found an 87 suburban with a 454. Got the compressor and all the a/c brackets I needed. Somebody had stripped the a/c stuff off my motor when I pulled it out if the donor truck. We will see how long this compressor lasts. Just need lines made next week and it should be cold air coming out the vents now.

I cleaned up the engine bay and got the a/c all charged. The engine swap is all done finally now I just gotta focus on all the other things I need to do.

I love how much room these trucks have up front. Even with a 454 or Cummins between the framerails there is plenty of room to work on things.

Looks good.

I installed a 10 inch puller fan between the condensor and the radiator. It really helps keep the a/c cold at slow speeds. Next I really need to build a fan shroud. It's been hot lately and with the addition of the a/c my motor likes to warm up at idle.
